Fertility and Nutrition

Statistics show that couples experiencing fertility problems is on the rise. There is much that can be done to improve your fertility and chance of conceiving with nutrition, supplements and lifestyle changes.


For example some nutrients can have the following affects;

  • Certain fats can balance hormone levels.
  • Some foods can improve the quality of a woman’s eggs.
  • Zinc can increase sperm count and reduce miscarriage
  • Antioxidants can help prevent against birth defects, miscarriage and increase the production of good quality, healthy sperm.
  • Some vitamins increase sperm quality and stop it from clumping or sticking together.
  • Other nutrients can increase the flow of blood to the uterus, helping to provide a more fertile environment for the embryo to grow and develop.

It is just as important to make lifestyle changes also, as smoking, drinking, recreational drugs and stress, can all have an impact on your chance of conceiving.
